There were 38 cars representing at least 8 states, and at least 10 of them had a very good chance of winning. In addition to the NCRA regulars, Danny Lasoski, Jason Johnson, Brian Brown, and several other top notch drivers were on hand.
The heat winners were Don Droud Jr, Jason Johnson, Mike Peters, and Seth Bergman. The two B feature winners were Josh Hodges and Jeff Stasa.
Don Droud Jr started on the pole in the feature with veteran Mike Peters outside. Johnson & Bergman started in the 2nd row. Droud jumped out to the early lead with Jason Johnson close behind. Droud managed to hold Johnson off through several yellows and a brief red for an engine fire. Johnson proved too strong and finally got by Droud on lap 25. Droud held on for 2nd followed by Bergman, Danny Wood, and Peters.
