Jayhusker @ Concordia 7-10-2010

This is Randy Hake showing off & running hard in his truck. Either that or he was just trying to spray me with a ton of dirt...which he did.
The first MSL heat. Tim had the pole and drove a good line at first, but...
...Ron was still able to get around to win it. Frank was 2nd, Tim 3rd, & Colton 4th.
Only Kyle Ord & Vernon McGee were able to start the 2nd MSL heat, but it was obvious Kyle was going to be fast tonight
There were only six trucks so they all ran in one heat. I think the finishing order was 1, 21,10,36,23, &71.
Four wide is impressive at Belleville, but HERE???? Wow.
A little paint got traded, but they got away with it.
When Nathan got a little sideways, he got my attention, but it was no big deal...at first.
Hmmmm, looks like he might get a little close this time.
Make that a LOT close.
OK, OK, I'll move!
In the first 600 heat Todd showed he was still fast by winning a close race. Kevin Brenner (48) was 2nd, Dustin McGee (26) 3rd, Todd Smith (10) 4th, & Rick Daniels 5th.
There were four cars in the 2nd heat, but the 93 scratched. Dennis & Chris had a pretty good race going until...
...this mount on Chris's car broke. He ran at least a couple of laps like this before pulling in.
Kyle Ord was pretty impressive in winning the MSL trophy dash, but Ron made him earn it. Ron took 2nd, Frank 3rd, Vernon 4th, newcomer Zach Middleton 5th, Tim 6th, Colton 7th, & Scott 8th.
For his first race, Zach Middleton did a darned good job.
Randy starting on the pole really doesn't seem right as fast as he was tonight, but I don't suppose he minded.
The 6oo speed dash. Chris, all fixed up, won this.
In the 600 trophy dash, Dennis showed he's still fast by taking the win.

MSL trophy dash winner Kyle Ord.
Randy & his posse after the truck dash win.
An already small 600 field was reduced to seven cars by the time the A started
After starting outside 2nd row, Todd really had to work to get around the 48 of Kevin Brenner.
The race came down to the last few feet. Dennis was inches ahead coming out of four, but Todd Odle got by at the line to make it two feature wins in a row.
After getting by Tim Barnard, Ron Tourney had to hold off Kyle Ord to win the MSL feature.
Randy Hake didn't waste any time moving to the front to complete the sweep for the night.
In the special feature, several 600 drivers took off their wings and raced with the MSL guys. Todd and Dennis raced for the lead, but Ron Tourney wasn't far behind.
One more of Zach Middleton.
Dennis L'Ecuyer won the "special" with Todd Odle 2nd and Ron 3rd.
